摘　　要：The Double Take column looks at a single topic from an African and Chinese perspective. This month we discuss the importance of feminism.Feminism is a doctrine advocating equal rights for women. It is the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities. Feminism is more about equal rights and not about sameness since men and women are not the same physically.
