摘 要:由于研究者们对安德鲁·马维尔田园诗中的玄学特质的不同理解,国内外学界对马维尔的田园诗一直持不同态度——肯定抑或半否定。本文以其田园诗作《花园》《阿普尔顿府邸》《少女哀悼小鹿之死》与割草人组诗为例,聚焦于马维尔的玄学派诗歌与田园诗文类的关联,来审视诗人在田园传统有限空间内的开创性尝试,说明这些尝试的现实意义以及马维尔的玄学派田园诗对于田园传统的继承、发展与突破。Due to different understandings of metaphysical qualities attached to Marvell's pastoral poems by researchers,Andrew Marvell's pastoral poems have always been subjected to different attitudes,positive or semi-negative,by domestic and foreign scholars.Therefore,taking his pastoral poems"The Garden","The Nymph Complaining for the Death of Her Faun","Upon Appleton House",and The Mower's poems as examples,this paper mainly focuses on the relation between Marvell's metaphysical poems and the genre of pastoral,so as to examine the poet's pioneering attempt within the limited space of pastoral tradition,and then to further illustrate the practical significance of the attempt,as well as the poet's inheritance,development and breakthrough of the pastoral tradition.
