摘　　要：《儒林外史》的人物出场描写十分具有特色,尤其是作者有意讽刺之人。《儒林外史》人物出场描写的内容主要表现在三个方面:形貌、语言、动作,重中之重在形貌。在描写手法上,采用镜头化的语言和第三人称限知视角,呈现出镜头感;通过自上而下的模式化出场方式,凸显读书为上、追慕名利的畸形社会心理;人物衣着与外貌、言行描写之间构成独特的张力,形成反讽的艺术效果。The appearance description of the characters in The Scholars are very characteristic, especially those whom the author intends to satirize. The appearance description mainly include appearance, language, and action, with appearance being the most important. In terms of depiction technique, the camera-like language and the third-person limited viewpoint are used to demonstrate a sense of framing. The top-down pattern of appearance highlights the perverse social psychology of reading for the top and pursuing fame and fortune. The unique tension between the characters’ clothing, appearance, words and actions creates an ironic artistic effect.
