摘　　要：涠洲岛由距今2.6~32.3Ma的新近纪海底火山中心式爆发形成,火山岩形成后经历了剥蚀、再沉积、构造运动及海浪侵蚀,多种地质作用形成的地质现象保存完好、生动多样。人文、自然景观丰富多彩,环境宜人,是科研、教学、科普、旅游度假的良好场所。Weizhou island was formed by the central volcanic eruption of Neogene seafloor 2.6~32.3Ma years ago.After the formation of volcanic rock,it experienced denudation,re-deposition,tectonic movement and wave erosion.The humanities and the natural landscape are rich and colorful,the environment is pleasant.This place is good site for the scientific research,the teaching,the science popularization and the traveling vacation.
