宏微观试验融入土力学课程教学的探索

摘  要:土工试验是揭示土体材料特性和工程问题的重要手段。传统的宏观试验是在土体为均质材料的假设条件下开展的,实质上就是宏观应力应变测试。但诸如土体的剪切、压缩等现象,都是介于宏微观之间的特性,受土微观性质影响。因此,在土力学课程教学过程中,仅依靠宏观试验的演示很难清晰地揭示土体微观特性,难以达到预期教学目标,学生也很难从根本上理解土体的相关工程特性。将宏微观试验融入土力学课程教学,从土体的微观结构描述入手,从本质上探究土单元体复杂宏观特性的微观机理,建立宏微观特性的跨尺度关联并进行分析,不仅可以提升教学效果,也可以开阔学生视野、激发学生学习兴趣,帮助学生建立完整清晰的土力学知识体系。Geotechnical test is an important means to reveal the characteristics of soil materials and engineering problems.The traditional macroscopic test is carried out under the assumption that the soil is a homogeneous material,which is essentially a macroscopic stress-strain test.However,such as soil shear,compression and other phenomena are between the macro and micro characteristics,which are affected by the microscopic properties of soil.Therefore,in the teaching process of Soil Mechanics,it is difficult to clearly reveal the microscopic characteristics of soil by relying solely on the demonstration of macroscopic tests,and it is difficult to achieve the expected teaching objectives.It is also difficult for students to fundamentally understand the relevant engineering characteristics of soil.The macroscopic and microscopic tests are integrated into the teaching of Soil Mechanics.Starting from the description of the microstructure of the soil,the microscopic mechanism of the complex macroscopic characteristics of the soil unit is explored in essence,and the cross-scale correlation of the macroscopic and microscopic characteristics is established and analyzed.It can not only improve the teaching effect,but also broaden students’horizons,stimulate students’interest in learning,and help students establish a complete and clear knowledge system of Soil Mechanics.
