摘　　要：复仇作为一个古老的母题,承载着深厚的文化内涵与时代意蕴。《铸剑》《石秀》《伍子胥》是20世纪前半期历史小说代表作,均以复仇为主题。与以往历史小说不同,它们在对复仇主题表现方面注入了许多新质:生命的诠释、人性的反思、灵魂的升华等,这些新质的背后折射的是小说家们对历史的深入思考,是置身于一个社会急速变革年代对个体生存境遇的反思,寄寓了丰盈的生命意识和理想的人格追求。Revenge,an ancient motif,carries profound cultural connotation and time implication.Cast Sword,Shi Xiu,Wu Zixu involving revenge theme,are masterpieces of historical novels in the first half of the 20th Century.Unlike previous historical novels,they injected many new qualities into the expressive aspects of revenge:interpretation of life,the reflection of human nature,the sublimation of the soul,these new qualities reflect the novelists′deep thinking on history,and reflect on the individual survival conditions in an era of rapid social changes,bearing the plentiful life consciousness and the pursuit of ideal personality.
