Ellipsis of the Word“Yi”(“一”)in Written Mandarin

摘　　要：目前教材有关普通话“一”字省略规律的总结存在以偏概全的缺憾。文章依托电子文献和电脑检索手段,就普通话书面语中“一”字的省略场合作了穷尽性再调查,在共性特征提取基础上,从“句法分布”“语义强弱”“蕴涵关系”“节奏规律”“语体风格”“言内语境”等角度考察了它们对“一”字省略的影响。事实显示:考察“句法分布”对于“一”字省略的影响,除需注意“一”字所在的位置,还需注意所在结构的松与紧;之所以唯有“一”字与量词结合时可以省略,全因为量词本身蕴涵单数意义。在影响“一”字省略的诸多条件中,“句法分布”和“蕴涵关系”具有基础性,起着决定作用。The explanation of the ellipsis of the word“Yi”in modern Chinese textbooks has some shortcomings.With the help of full-text retrieval and electronic library storage,this paper reexamines the ellipsis occasion of the word“Yi”in written Mandarin.On the basis of the extraction of common features,this paper analyzes their roles in the ellipsis of the word“Yi”from the perspectives of“syntactic distribution”,“semantic strength”,“entailment relationship”,“rhythm law”,“language style”and“intralingual context”.We should not only pay attention to the position of“Yi”,but also pay attention to the looseness and tightness of the structure to study the effect of“syntactic distribution”on the ellipsis of“Yi”.The reason why only the word“Yi”can be omitted when combined with the quantifier is that the quantifier itself contains singular meaning.Among many conditions affecting the ellipsis of“Yi”,“syntactic distribution”
