Objective To study the effect of inteligent technology to promote the independent improvement of physical health of college students. Methods A total of 720 first-year students with three levels of failing, pasing, and excellent physical fitness test scores were selected as subjects in China Pharmaceutical University. The experimental group was guided by teachers and implemented the intervention strategy of independent promotion with the help of artificial itelligence technology, while the control group did not use any intervention. The changes in physical activity levels, general self-eficacy and physical fitness sores of the students in both groups were controlled through an experiment of about 4 months. Results The experimental group showed significant increass in failing and passing levels and overall mean scores in all three tests, while the control group showed significant increases in failing levels in all three tests and no other significant changes. Conclusion Differentiated interventions should be used in colleges and universities for college students with different physical fitness levels.
