摘 要:程式语指的是语言使用中的固定或半固定结构,是词汇记忆和提取的基本单位。国内外学者大多从心理与认知语言学视角探究程式语在母语中的表征和加工方式,却很少关注其在跨文化互动中的语用认知特征及含义构建。本研究基于英语为国际通用语语料库,分析来自不同社会文化背景交际者真实自然的会话互动,从而探究跨文化互动中交际双方如何构建或修正程式语。研究发现,在多元文化互动中由于交际者缺乏相同的社会文化背景知识,其程式语使用具有临场涌现性、非线性及语义透明性特征,须在具体的交际语境中动态构建其认知凸显意义。Formulaic sequences refer to fixed or semi-fixed structures in language use, which is generally regarded as basic units for lexical storage and retrieval. From the perspective of psycholinguistics and cognitive linguistics, scholars at home and abroad have explored the representation and processing of formulaic sequences in native language contexts, while little attention has been paid to the cognitive characteristics and the meaning construction in intercultural interactions. Based on the analysis of English as a Lingua Franca(ELF) corpora, the present study has explored how speakers with diverse sociocultural backgrounds construct formulaic sequences in intercultural contexts. It is found that formulaic sequences used by ELF interlocutors are often emergent, nonlinear and semantically transparent. Because of their lack of core common ground, ELF interlocutors have to co-construct their cognitive salient meaning of formulaic expressions dynamically in specific communicative context.
