粤语“吴化片”成片问题再探讨--以粤西吴川地区常用词为例

摘　　要：吴川话作为粤语系统的次方言,在地缘、人口、历史等因素作用下,表现出形式复杂且通用度低的特征。吴川话能否独立成为吴化片,一直以来备受学界关注。从词汇使用角度出发,对梅菉、吴阳、浅水三地方言的常用词与赤坎、廉江、化州等周边粤语的常用词进行比较。研究发现,吴川三地的常用词使用处于对内存在不少差异、对外排他性不足的现状,暂时还无充分依据支撑粤西吴川地区的粤语能够单独成片。As a sub-dialect of the Cantonese system,Wuchuan dialect is characterized by complex form and low generality due to factors such as geography,population and history.Whether Wuchuan dialect can become an independent alleged Wuhua cluster has been concerned by the academic circles.Based on this,from the perspective of vocabulary usage,this paper conducts a comparative study on the common words of Meilu,Wuyang and Qianshui dialects and the neighboring Cantonese(Chikan,Lianjiang and Huazhou).It can be concluded from the analysis of statistical data that there are many differences in the use of common words in the internal in three places of Wuchuan and the lack of exclusivity outside Wuchuan.Therefore,there is no sufficient evidence for the independence of this subgroup.
