摘 要:本文根据认知语法的象征性假设和意义建构观,提出认知语法视角下形义结合的内涵是语法结构与其表达的概念识解模式结合,而非与其激活的概念意义结合。据此,汉语名词谓语句的存在说明汉语句子的成立并不依赖于时间性强的动词,汉语民族在识解场景的要素时,更关注其中的“名物”,而非“行为”,昭显出汉语民族的思维具有强空间性。“汉语时空同态观”所言的名词谓语句虽可激活时间义和序列义,但并不能揭示汉语名词谓语句所反映的识解模式,其结论值得商榷。Based on the Symbolic Hypothesis and Semantic Construction View of Cognitive Grammar, this paper proposes that the implication of “combining form with meaning” be that the syntactic structure should be combined with the construal model that the structure embodies, rather than with the meaning it evokes. In light of this, nominal sentences in Chinese suggest that the well-formedness of Chinese sentences is independent of the obligatory occurrence of the predicate verb, which is temporal and processual in nature. Chinese people tend to focus on names of things instead of actions when perceiving a scene, which indicates that the Chinese people are spatiality-oriented. The “ time-space conflation view”grounding its arguments on the temporal and sequential meaning that the nominal sentence evokes, fails to reveal the construal model of the nominal sentence and thus its conclusion is subject to further scrutinization.
