摘　　要：[目的/意义]对国外图书馆开放元数据服务的发展现状和特点进行调研,以期为国内图书馆开展开放元数据服务的研究提供借鉴。[研究设计/方法]以国外典型图书馆的开放元数据服务作为研究对象,详细调研其发展情况,总结开放元数据服务的不同发展阶段,并从服务政策、元数据资源、许可协议、服务方式和开发利用五个方面归纳开放元数据服务的特点。[结论/发现]国外图书馆的开放元数据服务具有先行的服务政策,海量多样的元数据资源,规范的许可协议,灵活创新的服务方式,并且支持元数据的开发利用。[创新/价值]目前国内对图书馆开放元数据服务的研究较少,本文选择了若干国外典型的图书馆开放元数据服务,详细调研其发展现状并归纳总结其特点。[Purpose/Significance]This paper investigates and summarizes the characteristics of open metadata service in foreign libraries,which can provide reference for the research of open metadata service in domestic libraries in the future.[Design/Methodology]Based on the investigation of open metadata services on typical foreign libraries,this paper summarizes the development stages of open metadata service,and their service policies,metadata resources,license agreements,service methods,and utilization of resources,and also analyze the characteristics of open metadata services in five aspects.[Findings/Conclusion]The open metadata services in foreign libraries not only have advanced service policies,massive and diverse metadata resources,standardized license agreements,flexible and innovative service methods,but also support the development and utilization of the metadata.[Originality/Value]There are few researches on library open metadata services in China at present.This paper selects typical library open metadata services in foreign countries to investigate their development status and summarize their characteristics in detail.
