走出“疑古”时代——胡适《读〈楚辞〉》的学术意义及其历史局限

摘　　要：胡适于1922年发表的《读〈楚辞〉》一文,在现当代《楚辞》研究史上具有重要意义。《读〈楚辞〉》对《楚辞》相关文献的考辨及《楚辞》注家的研究具有启发《楚辞》文献学研究与促进现代学术研究范式建立的意义。同时,胡适在文章中提出的“屈原否定论”等观点,更暴露出他的《楚辞》研究存在着立场过于主观、结论过于武断两大缺陷,而这两大缺陷的产生主要是受“疑古”思潮和胡适西化的文学观念的影响,折射出传统文史之学的现代转型历程。Published in 1922,Hu Shih’s article“Reading The Songs of Chu”is of great significance in the research history of The Songs of Chu in modern and contemporary times.Its textual research on the related literature of The Songs of Chu and its research on the annotators of The Songs of Chu have the significance of enlightening the research on the literature of The Songs of Chu and promoting the establishment of the modern academic research paradigm.At the same time,Hu Shih’s viewpoints of“negating Qu Yuan”in the article show two defects in his study of The Songs of Chu,namely,his standpoint was to objective and his conclusion was too arbitrary.These two defects are mainly influenced by the thought of“doubting the ancient”and Hu Shih’s westernized literary ideas,reflecting the modern transformation course of traditional literary and historical studies.
