摘　　要：新中国成立初期,为推动中华民族共同体建设,中国共产党自上而下从政策设计、实践引领、舆论引导等方面开展一系列实践举措。营造新中国和平统一的环境,建立家国安全共同体;重点帮助少数民族,构建多元一体结构共同体;维护各民族政治权利与地位,建设政治共同体;注重各民族经济利益,建设经济共同体;发展新中国文化教育事业,建设文化共同体。这一阶段的中华民族共同体建设实践增强了各民族中华民族共同体意识,为新时代铸牢中华民族共同体意识提供了宝贵的经验与启示。This paper intends to present in detail the Party's ethnic work in the early years of the People's Republic of China,analyze how the Party's ethnic work theory and the Marxist view on the masses were put into practice,and understand the arguably political wisdom of the first generation of Party and state leaders,such as Mao Zedong,in handling ethnic affairs,hereby hoping to provide necessary theoretical inspiration and path guidance for the construction of the Chinese national community and forging a sense of community for the Chinese nation in the new era of China.In the early days after the founding of the People's Republic of China,a series of practical explorations on the construction of the Chinese national community had been carried out as follows:First,by creating an environment for a peaceful reunification of the New China and establishing a community of national security.Main actions supporting this include 1)fighting against bandits and maintaining social stability,and 2)suppressing counter-revolutionary movements and peacefully liberating Tibet.Second,focusing on assisting ethnic minorities and building a community with a pattern of diversity in unity.The main measures to be taken for this include i)conducting ethnic identification to enhance ethnic peoples'sense of identity;ii)training ethnic minority cadres to enhance ethnic peoples'awareness of political participation;iii)carrying out reform movements in ethnic minority areas to stimulate their identification with the New China.Third,safeguarding the political rights and statuses of all ethnic groups while building a political community.The main course of action for this include A)promoting a system of regional ethnic autonomy and guaranteed the rights of ethnic peoples to participate in politics;B)further strengthening the policy of ethnic equality and unity and safeguarded the political statuses of all ethnic groups.Fourth,paying attention to the economic interests of all ethnic groups and building an economic community.Main means to this end incl
