Objective To investigate the effect of different doses of contrast agents in cranial magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)enhancement scans on the enhancement rate of cranial lesions. Methods A total of 72 patients who underwent contrast-enhanced cranial MRI were divided into group A(25 patients),group B(25 patients),and group C(22 patients)according to the dose of contrast agent applied.Patients in group A applied 0.10 ml/kg of contrast agent, patients in group B applied 0.20 ml/kg of contrast agent, and patients in group C applied 0.40 ml/kg of contrast agent. The enhancement of cranial lesions in the three groups was compared. Results The total enhancement rate in group B was 92.0%,which was higher than that of 68.0%in group A,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total enhancement rate in group C was 100.0%,which was higher than that of 68.0%in group A,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total enhancement rate between group B and group C(P>0.05).Conclusion The use of 0.20 ml/kg of contrast agent enables patients receiving cranial MRI-enhanced scans to obtain a high rate of enhancement, which meets the clinical diagnostic requirements, and can also play the role of cost saving, which is suitable for further research and promotion.
