差动操帆对风帆船节能的影响评估

摘  要:利用风能的翼型风帆助推技术是运输船舶满足EEDI高阶段指标的重要技术措施之一。以一左右舷横向对称布置两对翼型风帆的油船为研究对象,选取典型相对风向角,分别采用烟流流动显示试验和风洞测力试验的方法,从定性和定量两个方面分析双帆横向间距变化及不同操帆控制策略对风帆组气动特性的影响;在此基础上,通过求解计及横倾的四自由度MMG非线性运动方程组,评估压载吃水下双帆横向间距及其操纵控制策略对风帆组节能的影响。研究表明:横风作用下,沿船宽横向布置的两帆间存在着相互干扰,通过合理的操纵控制,可提高风帆组的推进性能;两帆横向间距越小,帆-帆干扰效应越明显,为最大限度地发掘风帆组的整体助推潜力,需要差动操帆的角度也越大;相较同步操帆最优状态的推力增量,同时差动操纵背风侧两帆,风帆组推力增量可再提高约7.7%,压载吃水下风帆组的综合节能收益可达22.7%。Wing sail-assisted technology is an important measure for cargo ships to satisfy EEDI at the high phase.Wind tunnel model tests for a tank with four wing sails in the lateral arrangement were carried out first⁃ly,using smoke test and force measuring methods respectively.Both qualitative and quantitative analyses were carried out to investigate the lateral distance effect and different sail attack angle strategies for improv⁃ing the thrust increment of sails.Furthermore,the evaluation of propulsion power savings after sails were in⁃stalled was carried out by solving the nonlinear motion equations based on the MMG mathematical model.The study indicates that the interaction effect between two lateral arrangement sails exists,and the thrust ben⁃efit of the sails can be improved based on suitable control strategies.The results also show that the closer the distance of the two lateral sails is,the stronger the interaction effect exists for lateral wind conditions.To achieve the maximum thrust increment of the sails,a larger different sail attack angle strategy is needed for the closer distance case.The thrust increment of the sails for the differential sail arrangement can be en⁃hanced by 7.7%compared with the parallel sailing strategy,and the total propulsion power can be saved by 22.7%when keeping advancing speed constant with no sails condition under ballast draft conditions.
