摘  要:本文选取“虚拟现实”概念作为思考元宇宙文学的切入点,因为它既是支撑元宇宙的核心技术之一,同时又可以指称文学最基本的特征或功能。VR技术的沉浸感、交互性和构想性(多感知性)等特征与文学有着异曲同工之妙,其中多感知性看似为传统的文学想象理论所拒斥,但根据当代神经生物学和图像学等领域的研究,它所形成的“感象”可能比文学呈现虚拟现实的两种主要方式——语言文字形成的语象和戏剧观看的视象——更容易带来彻底的沉浸效果,从而实现其共情效应和伦理目的。据此本文提出元宇宙文学的初步设想:元宇宙文学是由创作-体验者和作品-世界构成的特殊UGC(用户生成内容)社区,奉行“共情”原则,即创作者通过“共感”技术即时体验所有文学角色的感觉与情感,以期达成对抗技术风险、守护美好人性的目的。This article selects the concept of “virtual reality” as the starting point to think about metaversal literature, as it is not only one of the core technologies supporting metaverse, but also refers to the most basic features or functions of literature. The typical characteristics of VR such as immersion, interactivity and imagination(multi-sensibility) are largely parallel to literature. Although multi-sensibility seems to be rejected by the traditional theories on literary imagination, in accordance with relevant research in the fields of neurobiology and iconology, the “multi-sensual image” formed by VR may be more productive in achieving empathic effect and ethical purpose than the verbal image formed by language and the visual image formed by theatre, two main ways of presenting virtual reality in literature. Therefore, this article puts forward a preliminary assumption of metaversal literature: metaversal literature is a special UGC community composed of creator-experiencer and work-world. It pursues the basic principle of “empathy”;that is, the creator instantly experiences all literary roles and situations with the technology of “sharing avatar/senses” to truly achieve empathy between subjects, in order to shoulder the mission of preventing technological risks and protecting the goodness of human nature.
