Objective To systematically analyze the effect of swallowing and feeding management on improving dysphagia in patients with post-traumatic brain injury. Methods Using EXCEL table statistics,70 patients with dysphagia after brain trauma treated in our hospital were selected as the research target, and divided into control group(n=35)and observation group(n=35)according to the random number method, the statistical time was 2019 From January to January 2021,the control group received traditional nursing intervention, and the observation group received swallowing and feeding management intervention on the basis of the control group. The incidence of swallowing-related complications,GUSS score, and quality of life score were studied in the two groups. Results Before nursing, there was no significant difference in GUSS score and quality of life score between the two groups,P>0.05;after nursing, the observation group had lower GUSS score and higher quality of life score compared with the control group,P<0.05;the observation group(5.71%)had a lower incidence of swallowing-related complications compared with the control group(22.86%),P<0.05.Conclusion Swallowing and feeding management intervention for patients with dysphagia after traumatic brain injury can effectively reduce the incidence of swallowing-related complications, improve dysphagia and quality of life, and it is worthy of further clinical research and reference.
