摘　　要：长江中游湖北、湖南、江西三省具备深厚的历史渊源和扎实的合作基础,具有区位条件优越、产业基础雄厚、内需潜力巨大、科教资源丰富、生态地位突出等优势,但同时也存在着城镇化进程滞后、对外开放不足等短板。在奋力迈向中国式现代化新征程的背景下,三省要在长江中游城市群的基础上努力构建长江中游经济区,勇于承担重大使命,加快打造全国大市场的重要空间枢纽;增强科技创新能力,加快建设全国先进制造业基地;共建中部陆海新通道,协同实施更高水平的对外开放;以区域协同发展为导向,全面深化三省合作共建机制,推动湖北、湖南、江西高质量发展迈上新台阶。Hubei,Hunan and Jiangxi provinces in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River have profound historical origins and solid foundation for cooperation.The three provinces have the advantages of favorable geographic location,solid industrial foundation,huge domestic demand potential,rich scientific and educational resources,and prominent ecological status,but at the same time,there are also shortcomings such as lagging urbanization process and insufficient opening up.Under the background of striving for a new journey of Chinese-style modernization,the three provinces should strive to build the economic zone in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River on the basis of the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,have the courage to undertake the major mission,and accelerate the building of an important spatial hub of the national market;strengthen capacity for scientific and technological innovation and accelerate the development of a national advanced manufacturing base;jointly build a new land-sea channel in central China and implement openingup at a higher level;guided by regional coordinated development,comprehensively deepen the cooperation and joint construction mechanism of the three provinces,and promote the high-quality development of Hubei,Hunan and Jiangxi to a new level.
