Ambivalent Sexism and marital satisfaction have important influences on parenting stress.235 couples of dual-earners families were investigated by questionnaire with Ambivalent Sexism Inventory,Marriage Satisfaction Scale and Parenting Stress Scale.Based on the actor-partner interdependence model extended to mediation, the influence of ambivalent sexism on parenting stress of dual-earners families was discussed, and the mediating role of marital satisfaction was also investigated. The results showed:1)Ambivalent sexism, marital satisfaction and parenting stress are significantly related.2)Husband's benevolent sexism is closely connected to their parenting stress, while wife's hostile sexism has much to do with their parenting stress.3)Husband's benevolent sexism is closedly linked to wife's parenting stress, and both husband's and wife's marital satisfaction paly a mediation in it.Conclusion:the actor-partner interdependence model extended to mediation is significant in this research, and there are significant gender differences between husband and wife in the dual-earners family.
