光纤过氘机理及解决办法

摘  要:光纤氘气处理后,短波段衰减变大的现象,称之为过氘。针对过氘问题,本文从光纤过氘的现象入手分析,结合氘气分子在光纤内的谱损耗及扩散情况,确认光纤过氘是由于氘气分子和光纤内的缺陷结合残留在纤芯引起的。通过光纤预制棒在不同比例的氧气和氯气气氛内烧结的试验,验证了氧气和氯气会影响光纤内的缺陷浓度,在多孔光纤预制棒芯棒烧结过程中通入合适比例的氧气和氯气可以解决光纤过氘问题。The phenomenon that the attenuation of the optical fiber in the short-wave band after the deuterium gas treatment becomes larger is called over-deuterium.Aiming at the problem of over-deuterium,this article analyzes the phenomenon of over-deuterium in the fiber,combined with the spectrum loss and diffusion of deuterium molecules in the optical fiber,and confirms that the over-deuterium of the optical fiber is caused by the combination of deuterium molecules and defects in the optical fiber remaining in the core.Through the experiment of sintering the optical fiber preform in different proportions of oxygen and chlorine atmosphere,it is verified that oxygen and chlorine will affect the concentration of defects in the optical fiber.Over-deuterium can be solved by introducing a suitable proportion of oxygen and chlorine in the process of sintering the core rod of the porous optical fiber preform.
