This paper mainly summarizes the existing studies on children's primitive reflexes. This paper systematically reviews the relevant studies at home and abroad in the past 40 years, comprehensively elaborates from three aspects:the primitive reflex as an evaluation index of neurodevelopmental degree, the relationship between the primitive reflex and children'growth and development, and the relationship between the primitive reflex and the symptom of neurodevelopmental disorders, analyzes the existing deficiencies, and puts forward the future development trend.More than 50 relevant literature are collected from CNKI,pubmed and other literature databases by the literature method. The study concludes that, with the gradual deepening of scholars'observation and research on healthy children and children with neurodevelopmental disorders,it is found that the primitive reflex can not only be used as one of important indicators to evaluate children's neurodevelopmental status, but also has a close relationship with the later motor development of healthy children and the mechanism and symptom of children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
