摘　　要：With the continuous development of the Internet,cyber abbreviations gradually form a system in people’s communication.After distinguishing the meanings of abbreviations,this paper analyzes the classification,causes,characteristics,and effects of cyber abbreviations.The purpose of the paper is to understand the cultural connotation and era characteristics of cyber abbreviations,keep up with the current situation of language development,and provide a reference for the study of network neologisms and language.
