摘　　要：查尔斯·比尔德(Charles Beard,1874-1948)是20世纪美国最著名和最重要的历史学家之一。作为进步主义史学的代表人物,他的经济史观不仅对美国史学的发展有着深远的影响,对当时的美国社会和进步主义运动也产生了广泛的影响。比尔德的经济史观萌发于他早年在英国留学期间,当时英国流行的社会主义思潮对他产生了很大影响,从而形成了具有鲜明特色的历史观和学术思想。Charles A.Beard was one of the most famous and important historians in 20th America.As a representative of progressive historiography,his economic interpretation of history not only has profound influence on American historiography,but also has exerted great impact on American society and the Progressive Movement at that time.Beard’s historic viewpoints sprouted when he was studying in Britain,where he was deeply influenced by the popular socialism thoughts then then.It contributed to forming his distinctive conception of history and academic ideas.
