This study reviewed the biological mechanism and physiological significance of adipose browning, the effects of exercise on browning, the effects of exercise on metabolites, and the possible biological mechanism of metabolites participating in exercise-induced adipose browning,in order to provide a new direction for studying the biological mechanism of exercise-induced adipose browning.Research shows that:Exercise has significant effects on metabolites of glucose such as pyruvate and lactate, metabolites of amino acid such as alanine and branched chain amino acids, metabolites of lipid such as free fatty acids, and metabolites of tricarboxylic acid cycle such as citrate, succinate andα-ketoglutarate.The metabolites including succinate,α-ketoglutarate,kynurenic acid,β-aminoisobutyric acid and lactate participate in the browning of white adipose induced by exercise.Conclusions:1)Exercise can promote adipose browning by inducing metabolites accumulation;2)metabolites involved in the promotion of exercise-induced adipose browning process include succinate,α-ketoglutarate,kynurenic acid,β-aminoisobutyric acid and lactate and so on.
