中国原创图画书《团圆》英译本的多模态功能文体研究

摘　　要：基于多模态功能文体学理论分析了《团圆》英译本的多模态文体特征。研究表明,语言模态的物质过程以及黑色和褐色的前景化凸显了中国式的深沉父爱;图像模态的叙事过程和红色的前景化展现了中国春节的民俗文化;图文布局和字体模态的前景化提升了故事的趣味性和易读性;模态间互补强化关系的前景化成功凸显了模态间协同在弘扬文化元素中的重要作用。中外图画书的模态使用和内容各有特色,但都是儿童喜闻乐见的流行读物。为进一步推动中国优秀文学作品“走出去”,中国原创图画书英译本的文体特征值得探索。On the basis of multimodal functional stylistics,this study probed into the foregrounded features of the English version of A New Year's Reunion and their stylistic effects.It is found that the foregrounded material processes of the verbal mode and the black,and brown colors highlight the deep Chinese paternal love;the foregrounded narrative processes of the image mode and the red color show the folk culture of Chinese New Year;the foregrounded layout and typography enhances the interestingness and readability of the story,and the foregrounded complementary reinforcement relation among modes highlights the important role of mode synergy in the promotion of culture.Chinese and foreign picture books have their own characteristics in terms of mode patterns and content,but both are popular reading materials among children.In order to promote more Chinese literary works to go abroad,the stylistic features of the English version of Chinese original picture books are worth exploring.
