摘　　要：近代岭南报刊短篇小说极具地域色彩与时代特色,通过对比以往涉海小说,其涉海叙事的寄寓性描写突出。该文主要从3个方面进行论述:首先,在叙事空间上,作为叙事空间的岛屿更具写实性,展现岭南的自然景观与人文景观,桃花源式岛屿象征着对新世界的探索。崖山承载了一段沉痛的民族记忆,崖山的历史与近代的时代精神结合,展现了岭南不屈的抗争精神。其次,在故事情节上,中西文化的交流与碰撞更为明显,而桃花源的消失暗示了探索活动的失败。最后,人物命名寄寓了作者的写作意图,在一定程度上揭示了小说救亡图强的主题。The newspaper short stories of Lingnan in modern times have great regional colors and contemporary characteristics.By comparing with the past novels about the sea,the allegorical description of the sea-related narrative is prominent.This paper mainly discusses the following three aspects.First of all,in terms of narrative space,the island as a narrative space is more realistic,showing the natural landscape and cultural landscape of Lingnan.The Peach Garden symbolizes the exploration of the new world.Yashan bears a painful national memory.Combining the history of Yashan with the modern spirit of contemporary,Yashan shows the indomitable spirit of Lingnan.Secondly,in the plot,the communication and collision between Chinese and Western cultures are more obvious,and the disappearance of the Peach Garden suggests the failure of exploration activities.Finally,the naming of characters reflects the author's writing intention and reveals the theme of the novel to a certain extent.
