摘　　要：“五四反儒学”作为支配学术界的主流观点,反映的并非历史的真实情况,此种关于五四新文化运动与儒学关系的误读根源于传统与现代二元割裂的思维模式。究其实,五四新文化运动政治层面的批判主要因孔教运动而起,其实质是反对借宗教之名来行帝制之实;伦理层面的反思主要指向以三纲为核心的礼教制度,并未攻击“仁”“义”等儒家形而上学价值;学术领域的“整理国故”更非对儒学的全盘清除,实为对儒家文化正本清源的价值重估。重新审视和还原五四新文化运动与儒学的关系,发现两者在历史情境、儒学转型、现实意义等领域具有重构的必要性和可能性。因此应当在会通传统与现代的基础上,一方面用五四的革新精神促进儒学的创造和更新,一方面在广义儒学的视野下将五四精神纳入其体系之中,从而实现五四新文化运动与儒学的真正融通。“May 4th anti Confucianism”,as the mainstream view dominating the academic circles,does not reflect the real situation of history.The misreading of the relationship between the May 4th New Culture Movement and Confucianism is rooted in the thinking mode of the separation of tradition and modernity.In fact,the political criticism of the May 4th New Culture Movement was mainly due to the Confucian religion movement,and its essence was to oppose the practice of monarchy in the name of religion;The ethical reflection mainly points to the ethical system with the three guiding principles as the core,and does not attack the Confucian metaphysical values such as“benevolence”and“righteousness”;“Sorting out the national heritage”in the academic field is not a total elimination of Confucianism,but a revaluation of the value of the source of Confucian culture.Re-examine and restore the relationship between the May 4th New Culture Movement and Confucianism,and find that they have the necessity and possibility of reconstruction in the fields of historical situation,Confucian transformation,practical significance and so on.Therefore,on the basis of connecting tradition and modernity,on the one hand,the innovative spirit of the May 4th movement should be used to promote the creation and renewal of Confucianism,and on the other hand,the spirit of the May 4th movement should be brought into its system from the perspective of broad Confucianism,so as to realize the real integration of the May 4th New Culture Movement and Confucianism.
