摘　　要：Viburnum dilatatum(jiami in Chinese),belonging to the Caprifollaceae family,is widely distributed in Japan and China.Phytochemical investigations of Viburnum dilatatum(V.dilatatum)have resulted in the isolation of triterpenoids,phenolic glycosides essential oil,norisoprenoids,etc.Research results have shown that the chemical constituents of V.dilatatum possess various pharmacological activities,including antihyperglycemic,antioxidant activity and antiulcer effects.This study reviewed the chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of V.dilatatum to provide practical and useful information for further research and development of this plant.
