海南文昌乌土矿区高岭土矿床地质特征及成因探讨

摘　　要：文昌乌土矿区高岭土矿是大型矿床,在对该矿床成矿地质背景、矿床地质特征认识的基础上,指出了该矿床的成因类型为花岗岩风化残积-滨海沉积改造型砂质高岭土矿床,其直接找矿标志为第四系更新统八所组海相Ⅱ级阶地沉积。本文还分析了矿区及周边找矿空间,认为矿区外同岩体面积广,找矿空间大。Kaolin deposit found in the Wutu ore field of Wenchang is a large deposit.Based on the cognition of ore forming geological background and geological characteristics of the deposit,it is indicated that genesis type of the deposit is granite weathering residue-littoral sediment deformation arenaceous kaolin deposit,and direct prospecting indicators is marineⅡlevel terrace sediment in the Basuo formation of Pleistocene series of Quaternary system.This paper also analyzes the ore prospecting space in and around the mining area,it is believed that the area of the same rock mass outside the mining area is wide and the prospecting space is large.
