褪黑激素在羊生产中的应用

摘　　要：光照是调控动物生长、发育和季节性繁殖的重要因素。在畜牧生产中,可以通过人工控光提高公羊繁殖性能、肉鸡生产性能,缩短牦牛的发情周期,进而提升经济效益。褪黑激素作为调控动物繁殖生理过程的重要一环,参与了羊季节性发情、绒毛生长、精子发育等繁殖进程。外源褪黑激素的补充和应用对于养羊生产经济效益具有重要意义。文章总结了现有褪黑激素在养羊生产中应用的报道,并分析了褪黑激素在生产实践中的应用价值及潜在的研究、开发方向,以期为羊养殖业的可持续发展提供参考。Light is an important factor in regulating animal growth,development,and seasonal reproduction.In livestock production,artificial light control could play a crucial role in the improvement of the reproductive performance of rams,the performance of broilers,and shortening of the estrus cycle of yaks to better financial returns.Melatonin,as a key mediator of reproductive actions,has numerous effects on reproductive processes such as seasonality,villus growth and sperm development in sheep and goats.The application of exogenous melatonin plays an important role in the economic benefits of sheep and goats production.This review article summarizes the existing reports on the application of melatonin and represents the practical value of melatonin in animal production and the potential research and development direction in sheep and goats farming industry,so as to provide a reference for the sustainable development of sheep and goats industry.
