摘　　要：方志功用问题是方志学基本理论研究中的一个重要问题。本文全面回顾学界关于方志功用的主要认识,并借助方志功用在社会生活中的具体运用案例加以诠释,同时提出地方志普惠民众的主要途径,旨在提高对地方志功用及其价值的再认识,进一步推动地方志成果的开发利用。The functions of local chronicles are an important issue in the basic theoret ical studies of local chronicles.This article comprehensively reviews the main understandings of the academic circles on the functions of local chronicles and interprets them with the specific application cases of the functions in social life.And the major approaches of making local chronices benefit common people are put forward.It is aimed to enhance the awareness of the functions and value of local chronides and further promote the development and utilization of chronicle achievements.
