数字经济发展能否破解服务业结构升级滞后之谜——来自中国城市面板数据的经验证据

摘　　要：利用我国276个地级以上城市2011—2019年的面板数据,实证检验了数字经济发展对服务业结构升级的影响效应及其作用机制。研究结果表明:数字经济发展对服务业结构升级具有显著的正向推动作用,稳健性检验和处理内生性问题后所得结果均验证了这一结论的可信性;数字经济对服务业结构升级的作用机制主要包括要素供给的直接效应、就业岗位创造和技术创新驱动的间接效应,且这一因果关系在东部与中部地区、中心城市和服务业结构水平较高的城市表现更为突出;人力资本高级化存在正向调节作用,数字经济发展与人力资本高级化对服务业结构升级产生了正向叠加效应。Using the panel data of 276 cities above the prefecture level from 2011 to 2019 in China,this paper empirically examined the impact and its action mechanism of digital economy development on the structural upgrade of service industry.The findings showed that digital economy development had a significant positive promoting effect on the structural upgrade of service industry.And the conclusion was still valid after a series of robustness tests and the treatment of endogenous issues.The mechanisms of digital economy affecting the structural upgrade of service industry included the direct effect of factor supply and the indirect effect driven by job creation and technological innovation.This causal relationship was more prominent in the eastern and central regions,central cities and the cities with a higher level of service industry structure.Meanwhile,the advancement of human capital also had a positive regulating effect,which exerted a positive superposition effect on the structural upgrading of service industry with digital economy developmenttogether.
