人工圈养条件下河马交配行为的研究

摘　　要：以上海动物园饲养的2头河马为对象,研究了人工圈养条件下河马交配的行为特点。研究发现,雌雄河马合笼第1天,出现了较频繁的打斗行为,雄性表现异常兴奋,主动追逐和靠近雌性,而雌性的防御和躲避行为较明显。2周后,雌雄河马出现频繁的交配行为,爬跨次数增多,达到交配行为的高峰期。交配完成后,雌雄河马的交配和爬跨行为逐渐减少,雌性的示威和观望行为增多。雌雄河马交配期可分为兴奋期、高潮期和消退期3个时期。Taking two hippos raised in Shanghai zoo as the research object,this paper studied the characteristics of mating behavior in artificial captivity.The study found that there were more frequent fighting behaviors at the first day of the male and female hippos.The males were unusually excited,actively chasing and approaching the females,while the females were more defensive and evasive.After two weeks,male and female hippos had frequent mating behaviors,and the number of climbs increased,reaching the peak of mating behavior.After mating was completed,the mating and climbing behavior of males and females gradually decreased,and female demonstrations and wait and see behaviors increased.The results showed that the mating behavior had obvious characteristics of early excitatory period,intermediate high tide period and subsequent extinction period.
