摘　　要：SPLASH A WISH!People dive right into the fun during the Water-Splashing Festival in a square in Jinghong City, Dai Autonomous Prefecture of Xishuangbanna in Yunnan Province, on April 15. The festival, which usually lasts three days, is the official New Year celebration for China’s over 1 million Dai people, the majority of whom reside in Yunnan. The tradition of water-splashing for good luck has its origins in Buddhist purification rituals.
