摘　　要：植物新品种保护制度是种子法中的重要构成部分,对保护育种者权益和促进育种创新具有重要的意义。自植物新品种保护制度实施以来,海南品种权申请量为632件,其中大田作物占比83%,申请人以种业企业和科研院所为主。通过总结海南农业植物新品种保护现状和特点,发现不足并提出发展建议,为今后海南自贸港农业植物新品种保护工作提供参考。The protection system of new plant variety rights(PVR)is a vital part of seed law,which is of great significance to protecting the rights and interests of breeders and promoting breeding innovation.This article introduced the situation of the protection of agricultural new plant variety rights in Hainan.The total number of PVR applications in Hainan was 632 of which field crops accounted for 83%.The PVR applications were mainly from seed enterprises and scientific research insti-tutes.By summarizing the present situation and characteristics of PVR in Hainan,the deficiencies of PVR in Hainan were found,and the development suggestions of PVR in Hainan were suggested to provide a reference for the protection of new varieties of agricultural plants in Hainan free trade port in the future.
