从丰原慈济宫拆毁事件看日据时期中国台湾地区民众对民间信仰的守护——以《水竹居主人日记》为中心

摘  要:丰原慈济宫是台中地区供奉天上圣母,即妈祖的民间信仰中心,创建于清雍正年间,在中国台湾地区日据时期历经多次修缮,见证了中国台湾地区民众与日本殖民当局的纠葛。张丽俊是丰原慈济宫修缮会总理,其撰写的《水竹居主人日记》详细记载了丰原慈济宫修缮的大小事务。1935年台中大地震后,日本殖民当局借市街改正之名欲拆毁慈济宫西殿,张丽俊、地方耆老及中国台湾地区普通民众在此事件中展现出了与日本殖民当局斗智斗勇的智慧,以及守护民间信仰的决心与勇气。慈济宫拆毁事件诚实地再现了所谓的“殖民现代性”背后中国台湾地区民众的血泪。Taichung palace is an important center of local folk belief,i.e.the worship of Mazu.It was founded during the reign of Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty.It underwent many repairs during the Japanese occupation period in Taiwan,China and witnessed the conflict between the Taiwan,China people and the Japanese colonial authorities.Zhang Lijun,the head of the Taichung palace Restoration Committee wrote The Diary of the Master of the Water Bamboo House,which records in detail the affairs of the restoration of the Taichung palace.After the great earthquake in Taichung in 1935,the Japanese colonial authorities tried to demolish the the west hall of the palace in the name of the city street renovation.Zhang Lijun,together with the local rural gentlemen and the ordinary people in Taiwan,China,showed their wisdom in fighting the Japanese colonial authorities,as well as their determination and courage to protect the folk beliefs.
