摘　　要：张遵俭是我国著名目录学家、图书馆专家,1938年从文华图书馆专科学校毕业后一直从事图书馆工作,并长期担任湖北省图书馆副馆长一职。文章对其生平进行了梳理,并从开创目录学比较研究先河、参与多部图书分类法的编制与修订、编制区域性文献联合目录、主编《图书馆中等专业教材》、指导徐恕赠书及中南五省所藏古籍善本的普查编目工作、培养图书馆专业人才等方面总结其在我国图书馆学史上的学术地位和贡献。Zhang Zunjian was a famous bibliographer and library expert in China.After graduating from the vocational school in 1938,he had been engaged in the library industry and served as deputy director of Hubei Provincial Library for a long time.The article sorted out his life and also summarizes its academic status and contribution in the history of library science in China from the aspects of initiating the Comparative Study of Bibliology,participating in the compilation and revision of several library classifications,compiling the joint catalogue of regional literature,editing The Textbook for Secondary Specialty in Library,directing the general survey and cataloging of the rare books collected in the five provinces of central and southern China,and training library professionals.
