摘　　要：随着我国道路交通建设的迅猛发展,机动车隧道的数量和里程也在急速增长,隧道火灾事故频频发生。基于隧道火灾事故统计数据,以是否设置自动水灭火系统来区分并分析两类隧道的火灾典型案例和伤亡财产损失,揭示了自动水灭火系统对降低隧道火灾人员伤亡和财产损失的巨大作用。为此提出了机动车隧道特别是公路隧道设置自动水灭火系统的必要性和迫切性。With the rapid development of road construction in China,the number and mileage of road tunnels are also growing rapidly.Meanwhile,tunnel fire accidents occur frequently.The tunnel fire accident statistics reveal the differences of road tunnels with/without automatic water extinguish systems in fire casualties and property losses.The great role of automatic water extinguishing system in reducing tunnel fire casualties and property losses is shown.So it is necessary and urgent to install automatic water extinguishing system in road tunnels,especially in highway tunnels.
