计算传播研究的知识地图与实证框架——基于12991篇中外核心文献的对比分析

摘　　要：计算传播研究是传播学最具成长性的领域之一,但少有成体系的、实证规范研究。该研究从中外对比的角度出发,采用文本挖掘与网络分析法,通过分析过去22年间12991篇中外核心文献以及绘制计算传播研究的知识地图,发现:国际计算传播研究正成长为计算社会科学领域的两大主分支之一,且该主题经历了从计算机科学、到心理学、再到传播学的迁移路径;国内计算传播研究具有个性化术语表达、侧重理论论述、聚焦本土议题及本学科知识三个特点。基于此,该研究进一步整理出覆盖2个一级类别和13个二级类别的计算传播研究方法体系,并构思了计算传播研究的实证框架,该框架兼顾本土知识生产的适用性和实证研究的科学性。Computational communication research is a rising star in the field of communication.Its methodology and empirical framework,however,remain unsolved.Based on 12991 publications spanning 22 years,this paper draws a knowledge map of computational communication research with the aid of text mining and network analysis methods.Results show that,from an international perspective,computational communication research has been one of the two major branches of computational social science.The subject concept has experienced a migration path from computer science,to psychology,and then to communication.From a domestic perspective,computational communication research has three significant characteristics:personalized term expression,plentiful theoretical discussion,and the emphasis on local issues and domain knowledge.Based on these findings,this paper further develops an empirical framework with three modules:Frist,a methodological system containing 2 first-level categories and 13 second-level categories,second,a writing mode covering major principles in research design,and third,a pathway for research practice.This framework contributes to localized knowledge production and standardization of computational communication research.
