摘　　要：中国改革开放40多年来,尽管经历了多次全球性和区域性的经济危机和重大历史事件,却能够保持连续的经济增长,从一个贫穷落后的农业大国演变成为一个欣欣向荣的工业化经济体,人均国内生产总值连续三年超过一万美元,不仅达到了全球平均水平,还在全国范围历史性地消灭了绝对贫困,正朝着世界高收入经济体和发达国家的方向持续发展。中国所创造的伟大经济奇迹,是在全球最大的人口大国和落后的农业国家基础上所取得的,不仅具备坚持中国共产党正确领导的重要政治特征,还具备人口众多、幅员辽阔、优秀传统文化等大国经济的核心特征,也拥有世界科学技术发展和全球人类文明共同进步给中国经济可持续发展带来的重要历史机遇。当前,为应对国内外的各种风险和挑战,奋力实现中国式现代化,中国必须坚定“四个自信”,以更加开放包容的态度应对单边主义挑战,不断深化国内经济和政治改革,努力转变生产方式,稳定政治和社会环境,跨越“中等收入陷阱”,维持经济社会持续高质量发展。Over the past 40 years since its reform and opening up,China has been able to maintain continuous and uninterrupted economic growth despite several global and regional economic crises and major historical events,evolving from a large,poor and backward agrarian society into a thriving industrialized economy with a per capita GDP exceeding$10,000 for three consecutive years,reaching the global average.China has also eradicated absolute poverty on a historic scale throughout the country and is on its way to becoming a high-income economy and a developed country in the world.China's great economic miracle was made on the basis of a backward agricultural economy with the world's largest population.It not only boasts the important political characteristics of adhering to the correct leadership of the Communist Party of China,but also has the core characteristics of a large country economy such as a large population,vast territory and excellent traditional culture.China also enjoys the important opportunities for sustainable economic development brought about by global scientific and technological advancements and the common progress of global human civilization.At present,in order to cope with various risks and challenges at home and abroad,and to strive to achieve modernization,China must firmly adhere to the four-sphere confidence in the path,theory,system and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and respond to the challenges of unilateralism with a more open and inclusive approach.It is also important for China to deepen domestic economic and political reforms,strive to upgrade production methods and maintain a stable political and social environment,so as to cross the"middle-income trap"and sustain high-quality economic and social development.
