摘　　要：滑稽小说是近现代报人小说家吴双热合时、合地、合性格进行文学表达的一种小说类型,具有娱世、讽世、觉世的鲜明特色。吴双热的滑稽小说用民间俗调来讲滑稽故事以博一笑,用游戏笔墨讽刺社会弊病以求疗救,用笑语戏言为两性平等的快乐婚恋观发声,用嬉笑代替怒骂打破保守落后观念、宣传自由民主思想。由于这些作品满足了当时市民读者娱乐消遣、警惕社会陷阱以及追求进步思想的需要,故而受到欢迎。吴双热的滑稽小说创作不仅有力推动了“滑稽小说”类型的成熟,而且还有力促进了报刊小说的繁荣及常熟文化的发展。Comic novel is a kind of novel expression in which Wu Shuangre, a modern and contemporarynewspaper novelist, creates his literary works in a timely and characteristic way. It has the distinctcharacteristics of entertaining, satirifying and realizing the world. Wu Shuangre's comic novels tell funnystories in folkloric tones to get a laugh, use games to ridicule social ills to cure them, use jokes tospeak for the happy marriage concept of gender equality, and use jests instead of scolding to breakconservative and backward ideas and promote freedom and democracy. As these works meet the readers'needs for entertainment, vigilance against social traps and the pursuit of progressive ideas, they arebroadly welcomed. Wu Shuangre's comic novels not only promote the development of maturity of the"comic novel" type, but also vigorously motivate the prosperity of newspaper novels and the developmentof Changshu culture.
