摘 要:20世纪30年代,宋慈抱撰《续史通》,于欧风强劲之时,以“续”为名,效仿、光大《史通》及其代表的传统史学理论,肆力于对传统学术体系与命脉的传承,体现出鲜明的民族本位思想。《续史通》还自觉称引和继承浙籍学者的史学主张,形成了推尊浙籍学者和浙东史学的特色。宋慈抱对中国史学传统的守护,在当时的背景下显得不合时宜,但放在历史的长时段看,亦是推动中国史学发展不可或缺的学术力量。In the 1930s,Song Cibao wrote Xu Shi Tong in the name of“renewal”at a time when the European style was flourishing.By emulating and promoting Shi Tong and its traditional historical theories,Song strives to pass on the traditional academic system,which reflects a distinctive ethnocentrism.Xu Shi Tong also consciously cites and inherits the historical claims of Zhejiang scholars,thus respecting Zhejiang scholars and Zhejiang school in histography.Song Cibao’s guardianship of Chinese historiographical traditions seemed anachronistic at that time,but is in the long run an indispensable academic force for the development of Chinese historiography.
