摘  要:加拿大英语儿童文学是世界英语儿童文学的重要一支,它从殖民时代开始逐渐发展,从传承英、美、法三国的文化和文学传统到创造本民族特色,再到多元化、现代化和国际化,已取得突出成就。以加拿大的历史发展为背景,追溯加拿大英语儿童文学的发展轨迹,分析加拿大儿童文学的特点及其影响,可以发现:加拿大英语儿童文学以区域性、民族性、多元性的总体特征,对加拿大儿童加以潜移默化的影响,塑造了加拿大儿童的集体记忆,培养了加拿大儿童的民族认同感和归属感,加深了加拿大儿童之间的相互理解和尊重。English-Canadian children's literature is an important branch of English children's literature in the world.It has developed gradually from the colonial era,and has made outstanding achievements from inheriting the culture and literary tradition of Britain,the United States and France to create its own national characteristics,and then to become diversification,modernization and internationalization.With the historical development of Canada as the background,this paper traces the development of English-Canadian children's literature,and analyzes the characteristics and influence of English-Canadian children's literature.Studies have found that English-Canadian children's literature,with its regional,national and pluralistic overall characteristics,exerts a subtle influence on Canadian children by shaping their collective memory,cultivating their sense of national identity and belonging,and deepening mutual understanding and respect among Canadian children.
