摘　　要：As the Silk Road in ancient Eurasia becomes increasingly important,more attention in academia has been paid to Sute(巢特,Sogidana)which plays a key role in eastwest political,economic and cultural exchanges.The scholars at home and abroad have conducted plenty of multi-disciplinary researches on Sute.However,the focus on its Hellenistic period and the eastward transmission of Hellenistic culture is less than that along the Silk Road.Sute during the Hellenistic period has not been examined as a whole,and there has not been any monograph on Sute during this period.The questions about whether Sute is a part of the Hellenistic world.
