Objective To investigate the bacterial contamination of surgical gloves in different periods of spinal posterior internal fixation, and to provide reference for the prevention of nosocomial infection. Methods 150 surgical gloves that met the inclusion criteria in posterior spinal internal fixation surgery in a tertiary first-class hospital were selected from November 2020 to April 2021.Samples were taken at 0,1,2,3 and 4 hours after use, respectively, and the culture results were analyzed. Results 16 of the 150 surgical gloves were positive for bacterial culture, and the positive rate was 10.67%;the positive rates of bacterial culture for surgical gloves were 0.67%,2.67%,and 7.33%at 2,3,and 4 hours, respectively. The differences in pollution status were statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusions The bacterial contamination rate of surgical gloves increases with the use time of posterior spinal fixation, and intervention should be carried out to reduce the contamination rate of surgical gloves and reduce the risk of nosocomial infection.
