摘 要:该文以王东杰新著《声入心通——国语运动与现代中国》为主要线索,认为其着手处小,所观者大,表面上看不过是带着声音的文字,最多不过国语运动史的考察,但实际上背后关注的是中国文化由传统到现代迁变的大问题。进而借鉴德国学者赫尔德、洪堡等的相关理论论述,考察声音、语言与文化侨易的关系问题,认为主体被消解之后的文化侨易更为重要,作为核心梁柱的语言侨易无时无刻不在发生之中,不仅有笔译,而且有口译,所以声音向度非常重要;进而主张开辟多感觉维度的侨易空间,将语言现代性作为现代性的关键环节,凸显其“上下左右”的枢纽功用,在既有的视觉基础上,充实听觉向度,譬如作品朗读会、忆苦思甜运动、新闻广播、留声机现象等都是切入中国现代语言史的上佳命题,同时应对尚未得到足够关注的触觉、嗅觉、味觉等也宜有所重视,举一反三,形成整体理解。This article takes Wang Dongjie's new book Sounds into the Heart:The Mandarin Movement and Modern China as the main clue,and holds that this book starts from a subtle point,but shows a grand realm.On the surface,it is nothing more than a text involving sound,and at most it is only an investigation of the history of the national language movement.But in fact,behind the concern is the big issue of the transition of Chinese culture from traditional to modern.It then draws on the relevant theoretical discussions of German scholars such as Herder and Humboldt to examine the relationship between voice,language and cultural Qiaoyi,and points out that after the dissolution of the subject,cultural Qiaoyi is more important.The Qiaoyi of language,which is the core pillar,happens all the time.It is not only in written translations,but also in interpretation,so the sound dimension is very important.Therefore,this article advocates opening up a multi-sensory dimension of Qiaoyi space,taking language modernity as a key link of modernity,highlighting its pivotal function of “up,down,left and right”,and enriching the auditory dimension on the basis of the existing vision.Propositions,such as text reading sessions,news broadcasts,and the phenomenon of the gramophone,are all excellent point entering into the history of modern Chinese language.At the same time,attention should be paid to touch,smell,and taste,which have not received enough attention,and draw inferences from one case to form an overall understanding.
