摘 要:概念语法隐喻是系统功能语言学的重大理论创新,但其在二语中的应用却相对滞后。本文回顾了国内外二语概念语法隐喻相关研究,发现该领域研究内容主要包括学习者相关文本的概念语法隐喻特征描写以及概念语法隐喻培养,研究方法以文本分析为主且注重定量、定性相结合。基于文献回顾,本文展望了二语概念语法隐喻研究的未来趋势:加强非名物化类概念语法隐喻研究、拓宽概念语法隐喻的培养对象和内容、深化二语概念语法隐喻的理论研究。概念语法隐喻是语言发展高级化的标志、是学术语篇的核心特征,推进二语概念语法隐喻研究对我国外语教育具有重要意义。Ideational grammatical metaphor(IGM,henceforth) is one of the theoretical innovations in systemic functional linguistics.However,its application in second language studies(L2,henceforth) remains to be enhanced.The present paper aims to show the frontiers and trends of L2IGM studies.We first review L2 IGM in the literature,finding that the research topics cover IGM features in learners-related texts and IGM pedagogy.In terms of research methodology,text analysis is mainly employed,and a combination of quantitative and qualitive analysis is also adopted.Based on the review,we then discuss the directions for future study,including enhancing the study of nonnominalizing IGMs,broadening the pedagogical scopes of L2 IGM,and deepening the theoretical construct of L2 IGM.As IGM indicates the advancedness of language development and plays a critical role in academic discourse,we argue that L2 IGM is significant for Chinese foreign language education.
