The FCC slurry has been used in petrochemical industry and other economic fields because of its advantage of rich carbon source, but the premise of realizing its economic value is to remove the catalyst particles. The FCC slurry from a Daqing refinery plant is used as the research ob-ject to study the removal of catalyst particles by ultrasonic treatment assisted chemical sedimentation method, the effects of ratio of agent to oil,tem-perature and ultrasonic time on the removal efficiency for FCC slurry are researched, and it is determined that if there is a synergy created by ultra-sonic combined with chemical sedimentation method and enhances the removal effect. The results show that when the cyclohexane and polyacrylamide are used as chemical additives and the glycerin aqueous solution is used as aqueous phase solution, the removal rate of catalyst particles from FCC slurry is 89%.At an ultrasonic frequency of 40 kHz,the removal rate can reach more than 94%in an ultrasonic time of 10 min, this indicates that the assisted ultrasonic treatment can enhance the removal effect for FCC slurry.
