杜定友系列图书馆年度报告述评

摘　　要：由杜定友主编的图书馆年度报告在其图书馆学著述中占有较高比重,自成体系。文章对其中现存的十六个年度报告进行了研究,与同期其他馆年报进行了对比分析,认为杜定友系列年报具有“系统完整”“内容专深”“客观准确”“稳定持续”“及时公开”的特点,折射出杜定友“开拓创新”“批判与超越”“开放办馆”的图书馆精神。杜定友在理论上对年报编制进行了持续的研究,实践中则不断明确目标定位、完善制度设计、严格过程管理。文章还从三个方面探讨了杜定友系列年报的时代意义:丰富了杜定友图书馆管理学理论体系的内涵;有效改善了图书馆公共关系,树立了图书馆良好的社会形象;为年报编制提供了跨越时代的典范和标准。The library annual reports edited by Du Dingyou account for a relatively high proportion in his works for library science and form a self-contained system.This article analyzes and studies the 16 existing annual reports,takes a comparative analysis with other contemporary annual reports and concludes that these annual reports have the characteristics of system comprehensiveness,content thoroughness,objectivity and accuracy,stability and continuity,and timely disclosure,which reflect Du Dingyou s spirit for the library of exploration and innovation,criticism and advancement and open to the public.In theory,Du Dingyou conducted continuous research on the compilation of annual reports,and in practice,he continued to specify the goals,improve the system design,and conduct strict process management.This article also discusses the significance of annual reports from three aspects:enriching the connotation of Du Dingyou s theoretical system of library management;effectively improving the library s public relations and establishing a good social image of the library;providing a paragon and a standard for the compilation of annual reports across the times.
